Description

The pHD-DsRed-attP vector ( Addgene:51019 ) is designed for generating dsDNA donor plasmids for CRISPR/Cas9-mediated homology-directed repair (HDR). It contains a Disc\RFPDsRed(T1).3xP3.cHa marker flanked by loxP sites (allowing subsequent removal of this marker from a targeted locus), a single attP site and two multiple cloning sites for insertion of 5' and 3' homology arms of the genome region to be targeted. The presence of the attP site allows for subsequent access to a targeted locus.
