We got the eve-tau-lacZ marker line from Chris Doe's lab (see the Materials
and Methods in Wolf et al. (1998) Development, 125, 3853-3863).
It is OK to quote my previous email as a personal communication to FlyBase.
Sorry that I did not make these issues clear in the paper and hope that I
have answered all your questions.
