The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Steve Crews, University of North Carolina (8/06).
Ten lethal complementation groups were isolated following EMS mutagenesis that failed to complement both  Df(3R)Espl3 and Df(3R)Exel6204. (Df(3R)Exel6204 is included entirely within Df(3R)Espl3 and is predicted to have the breakpoints 96F9;97A6 based on the release 4 genomic coordinates of the progenitor insertions.) Mutations included alleles of dys and gro and the eight complementation groups l(3)CHa through l(3)CHh.  The following mutations were sent to Bloomington:
