The gene referred to as "Msh6" in the paper Radford et al., 2007,
Genetics 176(1): 53--62 (FBrf0201097) corresponds to the CG7003
annotation.
The insertion used in this paper to make Msh6 mutants by P-element
excision is P{EPgy2}CG7003EY07308.  We screened for loss of the 3'
end of the P element, which is oriented toward the 3' end of Msh6, and
for an intact genomic sequence in the proximal direction (toward
CG6876).  The alleles Msh610, Msh611, Msh659 and Msh668 each
have some part of the 5' end of P{EPgy2}CG7003EY07308 remaining.
