The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Yi Chen and Larry Zipursky, University of California at Los Angeles.
PBac{brp(FRT.Stop)GFP-2A-LexA-VP16} has the structure 
brp—FRT stop cassette—GFP—2A peptide— LexA::VP16 
and its construction was initiated with the work described in Chen et al. (FBrf0223931). It is identical to PBac{brp(FRT.Stop)GFP} (FBtp0093478) except the LexA sequence does not have a mutation rendering the  LexA::VP16  protein nonfunctional.
PBac{brp(FRT.Stop)GFP-2A-LexA-VP16}VK00033 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion into PBac{y+-attP-3B}VK00033 at 65B2,  3L:6435776  (R5).
