P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vA}, P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vB}, and P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vC} each carry a variant of Nlug\CYP6ER1 collected from strains of the brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens) resistant to the insecticide imidacloprid, under the control of UAS in the pUASTattB vector (FBmc0003002). The variants are described in Zimmer et al., 2018, Current Biology, 28(2):268-274 (FBrf0245991). CYP6ER1.vA and CYP6ER1.vB are the major variants seen in the sampled resistant strains. Both are capable of metabolizing imidacloprid (CYP6ER1.vB to a lesser extent than CYP6ER1.vA). CYP6ER1.vC does not appear to have significant activity against imidacloprid.
P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vA}attP40, P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vB}attP40, and P{UAS-NlCYP6ER1.vC}attP40 are homozygous viable and fertile insertions on the second chromosome into attP40 (FBti0114379).
