Thanks for your question regarding three L mutant alleles generated by CRISPR mutagenesis. More details follow: LD0B : The sequence GCG (1798-1800 bp of the L-RB CDS, FBtr0302926) is substituted with CAGGAAAC. This mutation is expected to cause a frame-shifted translation of L-PB (FBpp0292052) and an early stop codon after 29 novel amino acids are added from C599 of L-PB. LP3 : It has an 11 bp-deletion of GTGGCAATCCG (809-819 bp of the L-RB CDS). The mutation can cause a frame-shifted translation and an early stop codon after 5 novel amino acids are added from A269 of L-PB. LgR1 : It has a 10 bp-deletion of GCCGGTGGCA (805-814 bp of the L-RB CDS). The mutation can cause a frame-shifted translation and an early stop codon after 99 novel amino acids behind A268 of L-PB.
