The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Maria Ganfornina , Universidad de Valladolid.
NLazNW5 is the reduced version of the NLaz allele made by ends-in targeting in FBrf0149003.  It does not carry the mini-w+ marker present in the unreduced version and as such, should not be associated with an insertion.
