The Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center has identified l(3)95Ec149 (FBal0150366) and l(3)95Ec455 (FBal0150365) as alleles of the Tsc1 gene.  Both mutations are homozygous lethal and fail to complement Df(3R)crb87-4 (RRID:BDSC_2362), Tsc11149 (RRID:BDSC_63104), and PBac{WH}Tsc1f01910 (RRID:BDSC_18488). Whole genome sequencing reveals the following changes in the Tsc1 gene:
l(3)95Ec455 = Tsc1455, Q163stop (CAG->TAG)
l(3)95Ec149 = Tsc1149, C at  3R:24132492  is deleted resulting in a frameshift following A569 with 102 aa (FPECGSSIWRRMMTRPIVRAKDKEGRMEIRKRLAAACRGAAGTWPFRRPRIRLEAAPMPPPRRWKDWTVLQRSTRIGLLNSCWSARSKESTMKGTFCTRKIF) of frameshifted protein translated before hitting a stop codon.
