Reference

In late third instar larva, strong expression in the lamina anlagen, outer optic anlagen, and cells in the most posterior region of the ventral ganglion; strong in pouch region of the wing disc, weaker in remainder of disc; no expression observed in leg disc. In ovary, high levels of expression in scattered follicle cells over the oocyte.
