Insertion lines from this collection were assessed for inclusion in the Gene Disruption Project collection.
Inserted in a copy of invader2, mapped by unique segment at 5prime end of 5prime flank.
In the adult, bilateral pattern of expression in the central brain.
In wandering third instar larva, low levels of β-gal expression in the larval midgut and brain.
l(2)02321
Insertion separable from lethal originally isolated on the same chromosome.
This insertion was listed in the BDGP database as a lethal or sterile line during the period 1994-1999, but was not verified as such prior to the summary publication (FBrf0111489). Reasons for excluding lines from the collection described in FBrf0111489 include presence of more than one P insertion on the mutant chromosome, separation of lethality (or sterility) from the location of the insertion, and loss of lethality (or sterility) from the stock.
