In the mushroom body, ScerGAL4^c492b drives expression in the whole of the alpha, beta, alpha' and beta' lobes. In the gamma lobe, the main body of the lobe stains stronger than the dorsomedial tip.

Adult expression is observed in subsets of Kenyon cells in the lobes of mushroom body, a subset of the antennal glomeruli, a portion of the lateral median bundle, and some ring neurons of the ellipsoid body. Representative images can be seen Figure 4 of FBrf0127414.
