Dual palmitoylation signal from the Danio rerio gap43 gene (corresponds to the N-terminal 20 amino acid residues of gap43). The sequence is palmitoylated at the Cys residues at positions 3 and 4, resulting in a tagged protein being targeted to the membrane (PMID:2797153).
