Membrane localization signal corresponding to the C-terminal 20 amino acids of mammalian c-Ha-Ras. This sequence comprises a farnesylation signal (C-terminal CAAX motif) plus a cysteine palmitoylation site, which are both required to target the protein to the plasma membrane (PMID:9526637, PMID:1756714).
