Description

VARNAM is a fluorescent voltage sensor. It consists of a rhodopsin (GB:DQ074124) from Acetabularia acetabulum, mutated to carry a N81S amino acid substitution, fused via a linker to the fluorescent mRuby3 protein (FBrf0240878).
