Description

ELuc is an engineered luciferase derived from the luciferase encoded by the Pyrearinus termitilluminans LUC gene (GB:AF116843). ELuc is codon optimized for mammalian expression, and putative transcription factor binding sites within the cDNA have been deleted, without changing the amino acid sequence (PMID:20368807).
