mAvicFP1 is a monomeric green fluorescent protein with an excitation peak of 480nm and an emission peak of 503nm in vitro. It is an artificial derivative of the naturally occurring fluorescent protein encoded by the Aequorea victoria FP1 gene (GB:MN114104), containing in addition the amino acid replacements F64L and A206K (PMID:33137097).
