Reference

In embryos, EcollacZ expression approximates, but is not identical to, that of twi. At blastoderm, expression at the anterior and posterior poles is not observed. Labelling also persists longer than wild-type twi expression. In later embryos posterior expression continues to be reduced, for example, signal in the posterior midgut primordi! GAT21. Expression pattern ascribed to :twi
