Hsp70 promoter drives the expression of opaC cDNA which lacks the C residue at position 1781 resulting in a frameshift at amino acid residue 496, shortening the predicted protein by 100 amino acids.

opaC cDNA, which carries a frameshift mutation resulting in a truncated protein, is expressed from an Hsp70 promoter.
