Reference

The promoter region of Tm1 from -1400bp to base pair 72 of the second exon but deleted for an intron fragment from +167bp to +1367bp, drives expression of EcollacZ in some, but not all, muscles. In the larva, staining is detected in the somatic body wall muscles, but not in gut muscles. In the adult, expression is low in leg muscles and in the thoracic direct flight muscles, and absent in the indirect flight muscles and trochanter muscles.
