Description

Deletion of amino acids 169 to 399, en-derived regions 2, 3 and 4 (removes both the R domain and the most conserved portion of eh1).

An Hsp70 promoter drives expression of en in which the homeodomain (60 amino acids) has been replaced by the homeodomain of ftz, and in addition, codons 169-399 of en have been deleted (this removes a repression domain and a conserved motif).
