Reference

Reporter gene expression is observed in the ventral portion of the embryo as with endogenous Pka-C3 RNA but persists longer and can be seen in the mesoderm of the extending germ band and in the cephalic mesoderm. In larve, expression is observed in the crescent of optic lobe lamina cells surrounding the stalk of the optic nerve, in central regions of the leg discs, and in central regions of the wing disc that develop into the notum.
