Larval expression is observed in the presumptive wing and thorax regions of the dorsal mesothoracic disc. Representative image can be seen in FBrf074525, Figure 4G.

The 10.2 kb upstream construct drives expression in the blastoderm indistinguishable from endogenous salm expression. Additional salm-like expression is detected in the tracheal system, wing disc, and posterior spiracles.
