A mutated form of stau in which the 99 amino acid insertion in the middle of the dRBD2 domain has been replaced with the 8 amino acid loop that occurs in the equivalent position in the dRBD3 domain, tagged at the amino terminal end with Tag:MYC, is expressed under the control of a αTub67C promoter.
