Description

A mutant form of Adeno5\E1a, with a sequence that forms a large hairpin in the 5'UTR (a head-to-head dimer of a 63bp fragment from the pBluescript polylinker) and a Ubx IRES (internal ribosome entry site) sequence inserted between the stem of the hairpin and the Adeno5\E1a coding region is expressed under the control of GMR regulatory sequences. A portion of the hb 3' UTR, with wild-type nos response elements (NREs) is fused downstream of the Adeno5\E1a coding region.
