ScerGAL4lab.PH drives expression in embryos in the procephalon and the tritocerebral neuromere; procephalic expression is delayed by 2.5 hours relative to endogenous lab.

Reporter expression is observed in the copper cells and in smaller cells in this region as well as in cells of the anterior-middle midgut junction.

ScerGAL4lab.PH drives expression in the embryonic brain in a pattern that recapitulates that of endogenous lab. Expression is observed in the procephalic segment and in the tirocerebrum starting at embryonic stage 10.
