Description

UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of hh which has been mutated to carry the C85S amino acid replacement. This is expected to result in a protein which can be processed by autoproteolytic cleavage and modified at the C-terminal end by the addition of cholesterol, but which cannot undergo palmitoylation at the N-terminal end.
