ScerGAL4Gr63a.PF drives expression in the adult olfactory receptor neuron Gr21a/63a, which are the ab1C class of neurons housed in the large basiconic sensilla present on the third antennal segment. These neurons coexpress ScerGAL4Gr21a.PC.

ScerGAL4Gr63a.PF and ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323 both drive expression in a CO[[2]]-sensitive neuron in antennal basiconic sensilla ab1 adult olfactory receptor neuron Gr21a/63a, also known as ORN ab1C). Olfactory neurons expressing these two GAL4 drivers converge upon antennal lobe glomerulus V. ScerGAL4Gr63a.PF also drives expression in a neuron innervating the larval terminal organ, which coexpresses ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323.
