The construct contains the 5' flanking DNA, the 5' UTR, sequences encoding the putative signal sequence (residues M1-G19), the N-terminus of s20 (residues S281-R287), the s60 coding region (residues Q474-Q950) and the remainder of the dec-1 gene plus the 3' flanking DNA.
