Description

A Hsp83 promoter drives expression of full length jar into which the leucine zipper dimerization sequence from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae GCN4 gene has been inserted, at the end of the coiled-coil domain (between amino acids 1018 and 1019). This is designed to force protein dimer formation. The protein is also tagged with GFP.
