The wild-type Ndg enhancer-report construct AvicGFPNdg.WT is expressed in the visceral musculature of the midgut from embryonic stage 15 onwards. It is expressed from stage 11 in somatic muscle founder cells that do not express the fusion competent cell marker lmd.
