Description

A 891 base pair fragment from the flanking non-coding or intronic region of Lgr3 is fused upstream of a Drosophila core synthetic promoter (DSCP) followed by sequence encoding a lexA::p65 driver. The driver sequence has been optimized for Drosophila codon usage. An Hsp70 transcriptional terminator is present.

EcollexAGMR17G11 drives expression in several cells in the male adult abdominal neuromere that ScerGAL4VP16.Lgr3 also drives expression in, but not the female. It also drives expression in a non dimorphic cells in the brain.
