Reference

Expression was assayed in the tarsal segments of the prothoracic leg. Expression is observed in sweet gustatory receptor neurons but no expression is seen in bitter neurons. Expression is restricted to a single gustatory receptor neuron in all sensilla examined and colocalizes with EcollexAVP16.Gr64f.

ScerGAL4Ir56d.PK drives expression in all intermediate and in a subset of long and short labellar taste bristles. In the metathoracic leg expression is detected in all taste bristles of the tibia and all tarsal segments.
