Reference

In larvae, ScerGAL4Oct-TyrR.PE is expressed in the primary trachea, the dorsal aorta, salivary glands and the spiracular openings, as well as strongly in the peripheral nervous system. It is expressed only in a few neurons in the central nervous system. In adults, it is expressed in most of the abdominal muscles, the leg sensilla, gut cells, ocellus, proboscis, labellum and wing veins. It is also highly expressed in the mushroom bodies, as well as the ellipsoid body and very strongly in cells in the pars intercerebralis.
