Description

UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of two hairpin loops that produce miRNAs that target the neuronal-specific transcript of the ple gene; two 22mers bridging the 2nd and 3rd coding exons of the neural transcript (CGCAGCAAGGCAAATGATTACG and GCCCGCAGCAAGGCAAATGATT) were used to create the two hairpin loops.
