Description

ple regulatory sequence (the same as present in Scer\GAL4ple.PF) controls expression of the lexA::p65 driver. The ple sequence comprises a 4.1kb fragment of ple sequence from upstream of the transcription start site (this is fused upstream of lexA::p65) and a 6.9kb fragment that includes the ple coding region (this is fused downstream of lexA::p65 and an Hsp70 termination signal, so that regulatory sequences present in the ple coding region are included, but the ple coding sequence is not translated).
