Description

Encodes a non-coding reporter that is targeted by multiple independent endogenous piRNAs. Contains the vas promoter and 5'UTR upstream of sequence of GFP and lacZ, which have been rendered non-coding by removing all ATGs. 14 sites targeted by aub piRNAs have been inserted in the GFP sequence, each separated by approximately 50bp. 14 sites targeted by AGO3 piRNAs have been inserted in the lacZ sequence, each separated by approximately 50bp. vas 3'UTR sequences are present downstream of the lacZ sequence.
