Description

The hb P2 minimal enhancer and promoter are fused upstream of a transcription unit that is composed of 24 copies of the Tag:MS2 stem loop, a neutral spacer (sequence from the E. coli lacZ gene), 24 copies of the Tag:PP7 stem loop sequence, a neutral spacer (a portion of the E. coli lacY sequence) and an α-tubulin 3'UTR. This construct is designed as a reporter of the transcription cycle.
