The hb P2 promoter is fused upstream of a transcription unit that is composed of 24 repeats of a sequence that encodes a Tag:PP7 stem loop and a Tag:MS2 stem loop alternating in tandem, followed by the kni coding sequence and 3'UTR (with the start codon of kni removed).
