Description

Transgenic construct used to study the gypsy insulator. Contains the y wing and body enhancers, an FRT cassette containing UAS regulatory sequences, a loxP cassette containing the gypsy insulator, the y transcription unit and a mini-w marker. The gypsy insulators are at -900bp and -300bp relative to the y transcription start site.
