    Heterozygotes with scwE2 exhibit partial head involution and limited loss of dorsal tissue. Embryo has a 'tail-up' phenotype and the posterior spiracles are disorganised. Heterozygotes with scw5 exhibit loss of head structures and filzkorper. Denticle belt organisation is disrupted.
