    In(1)ombH31, In(1)ombH31/Df(1)rb13 and In(1)ombH31/Df(1)rb5 mutant adults have reduced sleep, impaired optomotor response and failure to increase fixation on single-objects due to flickering, unlike controls; In(1)ombH31 mutant adults additionally have altered sleeping patterns, compared to controls, with no effect on walking speed whilst awake, and undeveloped horizontal system and vertical system neurons.
