[29D3-29D3];[29E1-29E1];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
29D3;29E1
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Flies heterozygous for the deletion do not show a Minute bristle phenotype.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC215 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003, with the substitution of the primer 5'-CCAATGCGTTTATTTCAGGTCACG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in the Supplementary Methods.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2L)BSC215 predicted from the progenitor PBac{RB}CG13096e02179 and P{XP}d03060 insertion sites using Release 4 coordinates are 29D3;29E2.
