      In both btlLG19/+, kni6/+ and btl469/+, kni6/+ embryos, most primary tracheal branches fail to migrate. kni6/+, pntΔ88/+ embryos form rudimentary tracheal branches. While kni6/+, btl95/+ embryos show no tracheal defects, kni6/+, Df(3L)fz-GF3b embryos show a range of tracheal phenotypes, with migration of primary branches affected to varying extents.
