Reference

sbr¹ flies have shortened and missing macrochaetae on the notum. The macrochaetae are decreased in diameter as well as length and have a decrease in external ridging compared to wild type. sbr¹/sbr⁵ flies have smaller than normal and missing macrochaetae on the notum. sbr¹/sbr^mgln flies have smaller than normal macrochaetae on the notum and some are missing. The macrochaetae show a severe decrease in diameter and a decrease in external ridging compared to wild type. Many broken bristle shafts are seen.
