More severe Asx phenotype than Asx- deletion and also a more severe transformation of thoracic segments towards abdominal segments. Segmentation defects are also present: missing segments, midline denticles and hemisegments. Hemizygous embryos have weak head and thoracic defects and weak abdominal homeotic transformations. Heterozygous adults have a mild transformation of A4 to A5 in males.
