Flies remain dusty in a dust removal assay. Normal leg sweeping movement, though frequency of leg sweeping may be reduced. Leg rubbing is clumsy, particularly that involving meso- and metathoracic legs. Flies have postural defects, and cannot maintain the elevation of the metathoracic legs. Flies walk on a flat surface and can fly. Reduction in the probability of scratch reflex responses to single bristle stimulation.
