Description

A truncated form of arm is expressed under the control of its own promoter. A stop codon has been introduced in the coding sequence after amino acid 757 truncating the protein in the middle of the C-terminal region. arm 3' trailer sequences are also present.

      The combination of arm2, armS8 and sggM11 leads to embryos with naked cuticle.

      Dominant suppressor of the wghs.2sev rough eye phenotype. Shows a strong genetic interaction with panER1, resulting in adult phenotypes characteristic of reduced wg activity.
