Embryos in the offspring of diak07135/+ ; Apc2g10 mothers have increased metaphase cap-like actin at the apical surface as compared to single heterozygous controls. The number of incomplete rings is significantly increased in these embryos.

The lack of crossveins in wings from animals expressing rokcat.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E is not suppressed in a hts01103/+ background, but is suppressed in a diak07135/+ background.

diak07135/+ suppresses the mutant wing phenotype caused by expression of LIMK1Scer\UAS.cCa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E (the % of wings with normal morphology at 18oC is increased from 9% to 97%).
