      EcollacZslmb-00295 is expressed in nurse cells throughout oogenesis, but is not observed in follicle cells until oogenesis stage S8. Strong expression is observed in patches of follicle cells surrounding the oocyte from stage S10 through the end of oogenesis. At stage S11, strong expression is observed in two patches of follicle cells that give rise to dorsal appendages.
